The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is a modular cricket stadium that is scheduled to be constructed on the East Meadow, New York, grounds of Eisenhower Park in Nassau County, Long Island.

The legendary match will take place in New York for the forthcoming T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies. After being unveiled, the stadium is currently undergoing construction, with completion anticipated in three months. June 9th in New York City will see the legendary match for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) declared in November 2021 that the United States and the West Indies would host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024. After two years of planning, Cricket West Indies and USA Cricket jointly submitted a bid as part of their strategic collaboration. ICC CEO Geoff Allardice stated:
We are excited to be unveiling the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.”
What is the capacity of the stadium, zones and seating arrangements?
The capacity can hold around 34,000 spectators. A variety of seating options, such as VIP and hospitality suites, premium and general admission, a party deck, and cabanas, will be available at the stadium.
Modern media and broadcast areas, as well as a dedicated fan zone and a range of food and beverage establishments, will all be present.
The modular stadium is currently under construction in Nassau County’s Eisenhower Park roughly 30 miles east of Manhattan, and the ICC says it will be complete in three months. The stadium’s dimension aren’t known yet but it could have 60-70m small boundaries.
When is the first match?
On June 2, the USA will play Canada in the first game; on June 29, Barbados will host the championship game. Eight matches, including the highly anticipated encounter between India and Pakistan on June 9, will take place in the 34,000-seat stadium during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The Populous design firm, known for their work on some of the world’s most famous stadiums, such as the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, is behind this massive project. They are the official architect of record for the New York Yankees and New York Mets in New York.
