The Toyota Owners 400 is a NASCAR Cup Series stock car race that takes place at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia, know the full list of the previous winners
It lasts 400 laps. Former race title sponsor Crown Royal named the race after the winner of an essay contest held during Daytona Speedweeks from 2007 to 2011.
Jim Stewart of Houma, Louisiana, won the first essay contest, followed by Dan Lowry of Columbiana, Ohio, and Russ Friedman of Huntington, New York, with the 2010 event being named after Army veteran Heath Calhoun of Clarksville, Tennessee. Since 2010, only military personnel have been eligible to participate in the competition. Beginning in 2012, Crown Royal switched the “Your Name Here” sponsorship to the Brickyard 400.

All About The Race
The race was previously conducted on a Sunday afternoon the weekend following the Daytona 500 in February. The facility received lighting in 1991, although the spring race continued to be held during the day. Cold weather, including a snow delay in 1989, caused race organisers to postpone the race until later in the spring. The event was shifted from Sunday afternoons to Saturday nights and was rescheduled for May or June.
After a few years, the race was finally scheduled for May in 1999. After switching dates with the spring Talladega race in 2012, the event was held on the final Saturday in April. In 2016, the race was moved to a Sunday afternoon, but in 2017 it was moved to Saturday night in 2018. The 2020 race was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, being replaced with a race at Darlington Raceway.
