NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500 2022 Race Details
The event is 200 laps long, divided into three stages of 65, 65, and 70 laps each. The race is 500 miles long because the track at Daytona International Speedway is 2.5 miles long.
The race will feature 40 cars out of which 36 are chartered cars and four are non-chartered cars. Kyle Larson, the 2021 Cup Series champion, and his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Alex Bowman will start on the pole for Sunday’s race thanks to their one-lap times during Wednesday’s final round of qualifying. In their separate duel races, they will take the lead.
NASCAR Daytona 500 2022 Schedule, Date, Time, Venue, Tickets, Packages
The race will take place on Sunday, February 20. The event is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. ET. At 3:06 p.m. ET, the green flag will be raised. The Indian fans can follow the match from 1:00 AM, 21st February.
The race will take place at Daytona International Speedway. Unfortunately, the tickets for the event are completely sold out. Packages for the race can be purchased here.
The first duel race will feature drivers who finished in odd-numbered positions in qualifying. For that race, Kyle Larson will lead the field. The second Duel will feature drivers who finished in even-numbered positions in qualifying. For the race, Alex Bowman will be in the lead.
