However, an emerging NASCAR driver could easily bag somewhere around $100,000 and $300,000 in base salary and another $200,000 in prize money. Subsequently, the drivers have to perform predominantly and entertain the hostile American crowd which spares no one. Meanwhile, a driver can make $130,000 for one race if he finishes on top. This is the maximum any driver can earn in a day in the Cup Series.

It is known for a fact that this year’s NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson bagged the most amount of money. He was the winner of the consecutive races in the playoffs which enabled him to hold a strong grip on the Cup Series Championship.



This year’s NASCAR Cup Series came to a conclusion in Pheonix where Kyle Larson edged out his teammate Chase Eliot and engraved his name in the history books. Larson was the favorite heading into the final race of the season ahead of all his rivals.

It will be interesting to see what happens next year when the drivers return in the month of February for the early trials.
