NASCAR All-Star race 2023 prize money, payout and purse breakdown

Have a look at the NASCAR All-Star prize money, know how much will the winning driver make this year as the payout in 2023

Being stuck in traffic and travelling in circles may not sound all that appealing to the average person. Of course, neither do filling up the petrol tank or buying new tyres. It actually seems to be quite expensive.

However, NASCAR encourages all of that and it is also very profitable.

The NASCAR All-Star Race is no exception, and this year it is held at the track with a rich history for the sport; North Wilkesboro Speedway. As racegoers experience the 1990s, drivers will be vying for a cash prize if they can win the checkered flag.

But do not worry. The All-Star weekend is not all vintage. The fact that yesterday’s pricing was different from today’s price is good news for all rivals.

The payout for the winner of the NASCAR All-Star race has stayed at $1 million since 2003.

It’s a number that has come under fire lately for being stagnant, unresponsive, and unchangeable with time. That does not imply, however, that $1 million is not a large chunk of money. When at least six zeros can be found after a non-zero number, it is a good day.

$1 million in 2003 is equivalent to $1.64 million in 2023 after inflation. For the purpose of comparison, $1 million now is equivalent to $609,508 in 2023.

The winner of the All-Star game will see an additional million dollars in revenue in either scenario. Furthermore, winning $1,000,000 is much better than winning nothing at all.
