What Is Nari Shakti Puraskar?
Nari Shakti Puraskar 2022 is one of the Government of India’s programmes, under which deserving women are honoured by the Government of India.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, it was given out by the Government of India. The award is granted to qualified people and organizations who seek to empower women.
The Nari Shakti Awards 2022 will be given out in six institutional categories:
- Rani Lakshmi Bai Award
- Rani Gaidinliu Zeliang Award
- Mata Jijabai Award
- Kannagi Devi Award
- Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Award
- Rani Rudramma Devi Award
It will also be given out in two individual categories:
- For courage and bravery
- For making outstanding contributions to women’s endeavour, community work, or making a difference, or women’s empowerment.
