Khabib Nurmagomedov has embarked on an extradonaire tirade against the ring girls in UFC

Having purchased the Gorilla Fighting Championship, the Russian MMA promotion, Khabib Nurmagomedov has talked about how he’ll not be having any ring girls in the Eagle Fighting Championship.

Backing his decision by calling ring girls the most useless aspect of MMA, Khabib went on an incredible tirade against the eye candy. He talked about how he was perplexed with the usage of ring girls in UFC as he went onto question the need for indulging in them.

Khabib Nurmagomedov Says He Despises UFC Ring Girls 

Speaking at a press conference in Moscow, the old lightweight champion spoke at length about the tradition of having ring girls during bouts. While he also admitted that there was long history between these girls, he talked about it being a historic blunder, one which needed to be learn from and rectified in the time to come.

“Ring girls are the most unnecessary people in martial arts.”

Despite warning he didn’t want to “offend anyone,” Nurmagomedov asked, “What is their function? 

“I think they’re the most useless people in martial arts. What function? How? Do they develop the sport? Or do they help people to see that it is the second round now? What are they doing? Tell me, please.”’

“Dana White maybe likes it. Maybe you do, too. But my name is not Dana. My name is Khabib,” the MMA fighter added.

He also talked about how he was uncomfortable around the ring girls with him saying how no one bothered to read the signs the rings girls were holding but rather directing their undivided attention at the girls’ assets.
