Jae-chan turned himself in for the murder of Eom-ji on the 14th outing. Despite the matter appearing to be resolved, Do-ha chooses not to immediately jump in and rejoice in the confirmation of his innocence. Instead, his restless self teams up with Sol-hee to lay things to rest once and for all as they launch their own investigation.
Eventually, it was revealed that Jae-chan had only offered himself as a sacrifice to protect his brother, who was really to blame for the situation. Additionally, in his confession to Sol-hee, Deuk-chan reveals his genuine feelings for Do-ha.
