What Exactly happened in episode 8 of My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999
One of the nicest and most romantic episodes of the series to date, “My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999” included Yamada’s confession of his affection for Akane, much to the delight of viewers. Runa had to use the restroom due to a stomachache she got while at Yamada’s school fest with the other guild members.
While waiting outside, Akane saw Yamada hard at work with the rest of his students. She was too shy to approach him, but to everyone’s astonishment, he went over and checked on her nonetheless. Yamada is usually rather reclusive, thus his conversation with the girl was surprising to people around them. They took Runa to the clinic, where the physician speculated that Runa’s stomachache was due to her inactivity rather than her diet.
Akane was Runa’s sponsor for the day, and Runa asked if she could have some snacks and a t-shirt, so Yamada offered to come along. However, other students and teachers made fun of them and made assumptions about their relationship.
