Only a matter of minutes after the finale aired on the 25th of September 2021, My Hero Academia season 6 was officially confirmed to be in production. The announcement was shared by the franchise’s Japanese website, hereaca.com, alongside a brief teaser video for the upcoming production, see below.
Moreover, the next season is just being promoted as a major moment in the series history, with the official declaration ending with the tag line, “Hero vs an enemy, full-scale war is approaching!”
As of official declaration, there had been various rumors which have been surrounding the early-renewal of My Hero Academia with multiple ‘leaks’ trending on social media handles. One of the first reports on season 6 was shared by the Japanese news website Ryokutya2089, which stated that a “production decision” had been made for My Hero Academia’s 6th season.
Moreover, the news of a sixth season was by no means a surprising one. The most obvious indicator of a sixth adventure was the availability of source material, with the season 5th finale adapting up until volume 26 chapter 257 of the original manga series.

My Hero Academia season 6th episode 1 will be released both in Japan and overseas on Saturday, 1st of October, 2022. Beginning from the 1st of October, Saturday My Hero Academia’s latest season will bring a new episode each week. All the fans can enjoy the episodes internationally through Crunchyroll.
The lead character will be Izuku Midoriya and the supporting ones will include Shouto Todoroki, Tenya Lida, Katsuki Bakugou, Tsuyu Asui with a total of 25 episodes.
