Toya chooses to train alone to demonstrate his ability. Endeavor reprimands Toya for his burns and advises him to have a regular life. He separates Shoto from his brothers when Toya tries to harm Shoto and asks Rei to keep an eye on Toya. While Toya is exercising, Rei attempts to stop him, but Toya blows out at his mother.
After a while, Toya’s flame turns blue, and he requests that his father take a day off to visit the hills. When Endeavor notices Toya’s burns, she becomes upset with Rei for having let her continue training. Fast forwarding to the present, the family admits that they were all involved in Toya’s misfortune. Rei assures Endeavor that he is not alone and that they will help him confront Dabi.
