Shigaraki’s body was still under the influence of All for One, who declares that he will release his Nomus to reveal his true shape. He continues by saying that he won’t allow the warriors any time to relax and will keep attacking. The machines are helpless against the updated Nomus, so they attack the villains in despair. Shigaraki can destroy the gates by blasting away the Nomus, who utilize their Quirks to deflect the blasts. The Heroes also notify the command center to activate code red.
The command center closes off the prison’s free passage. Shigaraki rides a top-of-the-line flying Nomu into the jail. Shigaraki, however, awakens and challenges All for One about possessing control over his body. AFO encouraged the prisoners to break into other jails and free criminals after supporting them in leaving their cells, successfully blocking the heroes’ efforts to find them. Despite their horrific wounds, Aizawa and Gran Torino escaped, and Shoto sat there wondering about his bitterness against their dad. With Endeavor in that situation, he understood that it would be up to him to stop his older brother.
