Miyo took Kiyoka back to the Saimori residence when she visited her mind. Upon entering, she saw a girl who looked strikingly like herself waiting in the lobby. She recognized the young woman as her former self, who was attempting to prevent Miyo from freeing Kiyoka. Miyo, however, did not yield; she insisted that Kiyoka needed her presence at all times. Her former self wasn’t giving up, either, and was erecting a thorn barricade to block her path. But Miyo uprooted the deep tangles and became a new kind of being. As a result, she was able to help the wounded kid inside of her who had been crying out for so long.

More of the Grotesqueries came in front of them, but Miyo effortlessly dispatched them with her superior strength. However, as they strengthened, they launched a coordinated attack. Miyo assumed control of the situation and re-executed the murders.

Miyo and Kiyoka returned to the Kudo home and resumed their previous lives as normal. Miyo’s dreams subsided, and she resumed her regular, trouble-free sleep schedule. They also declared their love for one another and resolved to tie the knot.
