Gu-won struck a bargain with the god before he passed away. Fans might remember that in his desperation to get his tattoo back safely, he placed a wager on their safety. He won the bet since both he and Do-hee made it through the tattoo transfer.

The god was also touched by his compassion and Do-hee’s resolve to compromise in order to get Gu-won back. She therefore fulfilled Do-hee’s request and returned Gu-won to his role as a demon.

The popular Korean series My Demon has a happy ending as Gu Won came back to live and lived happily ever after with Do Hee. In the end, Gu-won reveals that Do-hee’s dad begged him to spare his wife and kid. Do-hee declined to assume the role of chairman of the Mirae Group, hence Seok-hoon was appointed. She is pleased being by herself and thinks that only someone as diligent as Seok-hoon is capable of being a decent leader.
Following that, Do-Hee went to see Noh Suk-Min. She informed him that Gu-Won had come back and that she was fine. She informed him that he had just hurt himself. Suk-Min got furious and started to curse. He started having hallucinations about his mother, Madam Ju, after being sent to prison.

Do-Hee and Gu Won remain passionate about one another even after four months in the epilogue The pair are shown kissing in the park as the spectacle comes to a finish, with the god smiling at them. Gu-Won hugs Park Bok-Gyu and Jin Ga-Yeong upon his return to Sunwol Foundation. Ga-Young was leaving for England, so Gu-Won wished him a happy farewell.

She went to the house the devil had saved her from before departing. She went to the police after witnessing a parent mistreat his daughter.
