Jang Hyun found the letter from the crown prince before he died. In the letter, he mentioned that he wanted to keep his promise and bring the captive to Joeson. Jang Hyun gave all the silver and wealth that the crown prince saved to fulfill that promise. He demanded the captives to be freed officially. They will also cross the river and enter via the land route. However, before the slaves could safely leave Joeson things went wrong. They were accused of taking revenge on the dead crown prince.ย
Did Jang Hyun Die in My Dearest Kdrama Part 2?
No, Jang Hyun was alive though he got seriously wounded and lost his memories. When King Injo learns that rumors are being circulated, he intends to put an end to it. He requests that prominent scholar Jang Cheol lead the investigation to identify the traitors and take suitable action. Jang-Hyun learns of this how Jang Cheol is searching for proof to put these slaves to death. When he visits him, he tells him that he is his father.ย
Fans also found out about the childhood of Jang Hyun. He took his revenge on his father and ran away from him. His father considered him a precious thing, so intended to hurt him by letting him grieve for the rest of his life.
Later, on his fatherโs order Yeon-Joon’s army of terrified warriors confronts Jang-Hyun. Yeon-Joo, who is critically injured and on the verge of death, orders the troops not to fire at him even if he manages to flee and doesn’t turn around when he believes they have shot him. Yeon informs Jang Cheol and the king that Jang Hyun died but he was still alive. One old man in the village fortunately found him and saved his life.
Does my Dearest Krama have a happy ending?
Yes, My Dearest Kdrama Part 2 has a happy ending. Jang Hyun got his memories back and he was together with Gil Chae at the end. The princess offered Jang Hyun to come with her. She said she could save him and wished to spend the rest of her life with him. However, Jang Hyun refused and said that he wished to return to his hometown and rest. Gil Chae is his hometown now and his heart belongs to her forever.ย
