My Crazy Boss is a romcom manhwa that follows Seowoo, a part-time construction worker. Seowoo has a tremendous crush on her chilly yet handsome employer Minhyeok, but she is unaware that her boss has a thing on her as well.
Minhyeok tries to rationalize his sentiments by reminding himself that it’s all for the sake of acquiring this building company, but he can’t help but admire Seowoo’s attractiveness. When your employer unexpectedly asks you out on a date under the guise of marriage? Who wouldn’t think him insane?
The chapter begins with Seowoo meeting Seojun at his shop. Seojun hands Seowoo some Setoka, which she gladly accepts because her siblings adore it. She then asks how much she has to pay, and Seojun responds 500 each piece, which is a little too low. Seowoo worries if the Setoka are edible because they are so inexpensive, so Seojun informs her that it’s the last left stock.
Seowoo wonders how Seojun will earn a profit if he continues to give her things for free. Seojun laughs and explains that no one does business unless they make a profit. The profit he derives from witnessing Seowoo grin so brightly is all he requires. Seowoo is perplexed because she still does not grasp how he makes money. She then looks at Seojun and wonders if all employers these days are insane.
