“Delete the folder for call of duty in your steam library, and the second folder that is located in ur program files for the launcher. There should be 2 cod-related folders you delete, after that you reinstall and it works perfectly. Enjoy“.
Players must therefore just manually remove the MW2 Beta game files and reinstall it.
While the aforementioned update is wonderful news for those who were impacted, this bug seems to mostly affect Xbox console players. The Demonware platform appears to be the root of the problem. For those who are unaware, Demonware is an Activision company that offers online services and solutions for games like Call of Duty.
