Born into a family of modest means, Munna is one of seven siblings. His father works as a laborer, while his mother manages the household. Despite the financial challenges, his family’s unwavering support has been a cornerstone of his success. Achievements on the Badminton Court
Munna Khalid’s contributions to para-badminton have brought immense pride to the nation. Over the years, he has won nine medals for India, including Two Golds, Two Silvers, and Five Bronzes.
Recently, Munna won Two Bronze Medals at Bahrain Para Badminton International 2024 (Level-1) held at Manama, Bahrain on 11-15 December 2024. In Level-1 tournament, only World’s Top-12 players can participate.
After these achievements Munna’s rank is 10th in XD in the World.
His dedication to the sport and ability to overcome challenges have made him a role model for aspiring athletes, especially those facing physical and financial constraints.

Beyond academics and sports, Munna serves as an Executive at the National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
