However, its not only peeved fans who have resorted to questioning the league. Appalling and bemusing developments on the field over the years have seen people irked with many lambasting the Indian Premier League for fixing matches especially those being held at crucial junctures of the tournament.
The claim was back on Thursday night as RCB got past the finishing line when they went up against the Gujarat Titans. Despite being up against the table toppers, RCB managed to pull off a mammoth win, one which propelled the side into the top 4 and kept their chances of making it to the playoffs alive.
While RCB’s runchase was spearheaded by Virat Kohli who unlocked his true potential and upped the ante when most needed, it wasn’t without some help from Gujarat. The team ended up making a string of questionable calls with pivotal bowlers not being accorded their full quota of overs paired with some extremely woeful bits of effort of fielding which spared the trend on Twitter.
