Mumbai 12th Sept 2025: At the recently held State Pickleball Championships in Pune on 6-7th September 2025, Mumbai players Debra Dcruz and Pankti Chheda won Gold in various categories
Both are founders of Rainbow Pickleball.
- Debra Dcruz won Gold in 35+ Women’s Singles category.
- Debra Dcruz and Pankti Chheda won Gold in 35+ Women’s Doubles category.
- Pankti Chheda and Gajendra C won Gold in 35+ Mixed Doubles category.
With this win, they move on to play the Pickleball Nationals tournament in Jammu to be held later this month.
The championships saw over 150 skilled players from various cities across Maharashtra participate in the Knockout tournament held at Pickle Point, Pune.
The 4th Maharashtra State Pickleball Championship, was hosted by All india Pickle Ball Association (AIPA), organised by Pune Picklers Club and SBA Club and sponsored by the Pusalkar Foundation.
Rainbow Pickleball, founded by Debra Dcruz and Pankti Chheda is a Pickleball coaching entrepreneurial venture. Started few months ago, the duo is eager to make Pickleball popular and a game of fun and skill, which can be played by all age groups.
