The 13th Mr World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2022, which was held in Phuket in Thailand has come to an end on December 12, 2022, know the champion and winners list
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, this year’s Bodybuilding Championship was attended by 4 Manipur’s bodybuilders.
As per a statement given by the General Secretary of All Manipur Body Builders Association, Yumlembam Sunanta, 4 bodybuilders of Manipur represented the nation at the 13th Bodybuilding Championship 2022.

These 4 bodybuilders not just represented India but they even shined at the sports event as one of them, as Manipur’s Chingkheinganba Athokpam emerged as the Champion of this year.
Let us remind you, this year’s World Bodybuilding Championship 2022 which started on December 6, 2022 has finally come to an end on December 12, 2022 with the winning of Athokpam.
The organizers of the 13th World Bodybuilding Championship 2022 have now revealed the list of winners from India.
For those who are curious, let us tell you, as aforesaid, Chingkheinganba Athokpam won this year’s Championship in the category of Junior boys which is above than 75kg.
Whereas, in the senior women’s physique section, Solima Jajo emerged victorious as she got the second position in the open category of 165 cm.
In the Men’ bodybuilding section, followed by Athokpam, Khumanthem Sushilkumar, got the third place in the category of Junior bodybuilding which is below 75 Kgs.
In the women’s bodybuilding section, the fourth position was taken by Chingangbam Karishma Chanu who represented our nation in below 55 Kgs.
For those who are unversed, let us remind you, AMBBA aka All Manipur Body Builders Association is affiliated with the Indian Body Builders Federation.
Another bodybuilder, Mangaal Arambam, who’s a part of the Indian team also participated in Men’s Sports physique competition while the team was managed by N Kishan.
The 17-year-old, Solimla Jajo, who’s a native of Kasom Khullen in Kamjong district, won the silver medal for the country while Athokpam won gold.
Jajo, who’s the winner of Miss Manipur Model Physique is best known for being the brand ambassador of a famous football club, Ukhrul FC as well as the ambassador of a food supplements brand Animal Booster Nutrition.
For those who aren’t familiar, let us tell you, a total of 44 countries participated in this year’s Championship which was held in Phuket.
