The release date is scheduled for 15 March 2024 for the sports drama “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.”
The Cast of Mr. and Mrs. Mahi
Rajkummar Rao has been cast as Dhoni, one of cricket’s most recognizable faces and a key figure in India’s three ICC championships (in 2007, 2011, and 2013). Mahima, a character based on Dhoni’s wife Sakshi, will be portrayed by Janhvi Kapoor. The film will chronicle Dhoni’s life and career. He came from modest means in Ranchi, India, but is now the revered captain of the Indian cricket team.
The release date was announced on Dharma Productions’ social media channels with the tweet “One dream, chased by two hearts!”Sharan Sharma’s #MrAndMrsMahi, starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, will hit theaters on March 15, 2024.
Dharma Productions, run by Bollywood heavyweight Karan Johar, have revealed that they will be making a film based on the life of MS Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi. After 2016’s “MS Dhoni – The Untold Story,” which starred Sushant Rajput, this is the second Bollywood film based on the life of India’s World Cup-winning captain.
