Every year, MotoGP has a summer break. However, this year’s 28-day hiatus is because certain races were postponed and some were cancelled.
For the MotoGP fans in India, the suspension of this year’s 2024 Indian Grand Prix is a major loss and upset for them who were eagerly waiting for some action.

According to the organizers, September’s weather is not ideal for the race following extreme heat and humidity.
However, the competition’s organisers were thinking of postponing it until November 2024, however, in addition to putting the teams through physical strain, a fourth race in the same month would cause difficulty.
Meanwhile, 27 riders will have their longest period of rest of the current season when the 2024 MotoGP season, sadly, abruptly ends after four weeks in the height of summer.
This year’s 28-day halt on the schedule comes thanks to some races being cancelled and others switching place in the calendar. That’s a four-week break between the meetings in Italy and the Netherlands as the summer break comes midway through a long stretch of European races to mark the summer period of the season.
When will the 2024 MotoGP season return?
