Rising motocross star Brayden Erbacher, died in a terrible accident on the track during a championship race, right in front of his parents, know his cause of death
On Sunday, March 5, around 11 a.m., Brayden Erbacher, 20, was riding in the first round of the ProMX Championship in Wonthaggi, Victoria. He fell off his bike and was hit by another rider.

During the ProMX Championship, however, tragedy struck, and Erbacher got a serious head injury when several bikes fell on him while he was still on the ground. Mercury.com.au says that emergency services tried to save him, but he died at the scene as his parents watched.
After the accident, the rest of the day’s events were cancelled “with immediate effect” by Motorcycling Australia. Police and WorkSafe Victoria are looking into what happened and will soon give the coroner a report.
Motocross community mourns loss of Brayden Erbacher
Erbacher’s death has devastated the motocross community. Also many of his fellow riders and fans have paid tribute to his life and love for the sport. Corrine, his mother, said that she and the rest of her family are “shattered beyond words.”
“Brayden touched the lives of so many, and we were so proud to call him our son,” she told 9News. “His passing has left a void that can never be filled.”

Erbacher’s younger brother Damon, who also rides, posted a touching tribute to his brother on social media, saying that he was his biggest inspiration. “You were the best big brother, and I looked up to you every single day. You guided me through life to this point, and for that, I’ll always be grateful,” Damon put a message on Instagram.
Brayden Erbacher had huge potential
Erbacher’s uncle, Elliot Newman, also wrote a sad goodbye letter to his loving nephew. “He was very good at racing, and he died doing what he loved. We are Heartbroken. Big love Brayden forever in our memories xx,” Newman said.
The motocross community is sad about the death of a young rider. He had a lot of potential and a long career ahead of him. Erbacher’s love of sports and his down-to-earth personality made him a well-liked member of the community, and many people will miss him.
Also in a statement, the Manjimup Motor Cycle Club asked that everyone at the first round of the South West Championship Series on Sunday wear black armbands to honour Erbacher.
