The college is running job oriented courses in the field of Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, Health environment & Disaster Management. The college has successfully imparted the community college scheme of Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. Now a special study centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi is running in the college campus to cater tp the need of higher education in the remote and hilly areas of Panchkula and Sirmaur districts.

This special study center was established in Morni hills keeping in mind the deprived population of Morni Hills and adjoining area’s higher education as there is no institute of higher education available in this area and the transport facility in this area is also inadequate. Since establishment of the IGNOU special study center, they have enrolled more than 3000 learners under BA, BPP, CDM, CES, MAH, MHD, MPS and MEG programmes.
A string of awareness campaigns, door to door counseling were carried out along with conducting various awareness camps to increase the enrollment/re-registration in IGNOU and various other related activities like ‘Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan’, ‘Tree plantation’, ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Abhiyan’, ‘Plastic mukt bharat abhiyan’, ‘Aao hum digital Ho jaye abhiyan’ etc. under the guidance of IGNOU RC-Chandigarh.
The college is also accredited by National Institute of Open Schooling and is offering courses on fire safety, computer application and yoga duly recognized by NIOS. About 7 batches of student under these courses have passed out and placed in different govt./private establishments.
The college has rich infrastructural setup including adequate number of qualified permanent / visiting faculties, classrooms equipped with overhead Projector, Fire safety Laboratory, general library, Computer Laboratory etc. The college has signed MOU’s with many reputed industries for training of its faculties and students.
Along with this, the college has strong alumni association which helps the student’s placement in various government sectors as well as in private sector. It also has an excellent placement record of its students.
