We have all grown up in India eating parathas and pakoras from our mothers’ hands; thus, the MOPP (Mad Over Parathas and Pakodas) enterprise is an attempt to provide cuisine similar to home style.
MOPP was founded by Geetika and Gaurav Gupta. The creator claims that she continually creates pakoras and parathas using the children’s preferences.
They opened for business in Haryana in 2019. They have fulfilled over 3.5 lakh orders for parathas and pakodas while serving over 450 made-to-order parathas and pakodas daily.
Meals served by MOPP
Mad Over Paratha & Pakoda combines similar feelings in order to provide everyone’s favorite home-cooked Indian foods in a novel way. It is created such that it stays fresh and crisp up to the point of delivery, starting with the product and continuing with the packaging. As a snack, appetizer, and beverage, they provide custom-made parathas and pakoras.
Since it was also created with the intention of becoming a healthy choice, pickles, gravy, curd, and butter are also included in the meal. Each paratha measures 9 inches. Additionally, it is packaged in such a way that the use of dishes, silverware, and hand washing mimics a mother’s care.
Their Shark Tank India Season 2 experience
A couple pitched their concept for Mopp Foods’ crispy and soft pakoras and parathas. They presented their concept for a flavor that may be enjoyed when you don’t feel like cooking. In exchange for 2.25% of the stock, they want Rs 75 lakh.
However, the couple eventually agreed to Amit Jain’s offer of 75 lakhs in exchange for 5%. Additionally, all sharks were impressed by the couple and enjoyed the flavor of their food.
