When Mohamed Salah said he doesn’t drink because he doesn’t feel like drinking it, he was heavily criticised with Muslims again lambasting him for his Christmas wish post and pictures with the tree on Twitter
Many Islamists believed he should be a proud Muslim and stated the obvious that alcohol is haram (prohibited) in Islam.
Mohamed Salah Lashed Out At By Islamists For Christmas Wish And Tree Pictures On Twitter Who Term Festival Haram
Football player Mohamed Salah has once again been cancelled for making Christmas wishes. On December 24 (local time), Salah, a star player for Liverpool FC, shared a photo of his family gathered around a blue Christmas tree along with the message, “Merry Christmas.”
So Christians Can Wish Muslims
"EID MUBARAK" but Muslims can't?We're all his creatures, No-one made himself. No one choose to be born Muslim/Christian. So stop think that just because you were born Muslim you're right than all Human
GOD DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT 🚮

I shall be unfollowing you and stop supporting Liverpool because you are celebrating Christmas with the Christians.

My fav Christmas Eve tradition is when Mo Salah posts his annual Christmas tree photo and then he receives a lecture from every grumpy Muslim uncle about why that’s haram and then the post evolves into whether a single Christmas tree is gonna annihilate the entire Ummah 🤌🏾 pic.twitter.com/1BoukRAoFU

Islamists are unhappy with this post.
Many Muslim social media users on different platforms were offended by the joyful family photo, and they banned him in comments on Twitter and Instagram.
A social media influencer with more than 1 million followers Salah was questioned by Alinur Mohamed. “We believed you were a role model and the most effective spokesperson for your religion to persuade others, he said. We didn’t anticipate you to experience the effects and tell them about it (cursing and cursing God), Salah.”
I'm convinced that he does this just to piss off muslims on social media.
Anyways this is the guy y'all take as your role model ? https://t.co/pe8DbiZMF1

Salah has previously been cancelled
Salah’s cancellation on social media by Islamists is not new or the only reason for it. He was disqualified in September for expressing sympathy for Queen Elizabeth II’s passing. Salah requested in a tweet that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II receive tribute and a final farewell from the people of the United Kingdom and the rest of the globe. On this emotional day, my thoughts are with the Royal Family, he tweeted. Islamists from all around the world assaulted him on social media after his tweet.
His Muslim credentials were revoked in December 2021 as a result of his uploading a photo of himself with his family for Christmas. His Christmas images offended Muslim supporters for the third time in a row because they felt it was improper for him to partake in religious practices of another faith.
When he stated that he refrains from drinking because he doesn’t feel like drinking it, he was also attacked. Many Islamists believed that he should be a proud Muslim and stated the obvious that alcohol is haram (prohibited) in Islam.
