In the previous episodes, we have seen the second phase of the PRE-4 Mission. It included Kim Dong-ryul’s song Shall I Love You Again? The judges selected Kim Seong-jeong as the best performer among them. After their performance, WUMUTI made an impression and was chosen as their group’s best performer. The rest of the PRE-4 Mission participants then displayed their incredible skills. Every four-person group had one member selected as the best performer. All of the participants were then divided into three parts, which are designated as Sections T, M, and L. Then, to form trios, the best player on each team chose one person from each of the other categories.
After they presented and received feedback collectively, one member was designated as the low-tier performer. This method increased the stakes and survival problems by introducing a dramatic element. The competitors’ ultimate motivation was to show off their voice power and make it through the tournament.
