Kei Kamara currently plays for Minnesota United and is th eonly player in the history of MLS to score for 8 different teams.

  1. Jaime Moreno – 133 goals

He is a former Bolivian Striker who led the top scorer of MLS chart until 2010 (the year he retired). Moreno made his debut in the mid-season of 1996, whereby he was acquired by D.C. United and was one of the best players in the league in 1997.


Even 1998, it seemed Jaime Moreno could win the MVP Award but lost to Bolivian teammate Marco Etcheverry. Jaime Mareno’s career started going downhill ever since his injury in 2001.

  1. Jeff Cunningham – 134 goals

He played in the Major League Soccer from 1998 to 2011 and played for 5 different teams. He started his MLS career with Columbus Crew and ended with the same team as well. Jeff Cunningham was a team player and the fact that he had 20 or more assists in 13 MLS seasons, proves just that.


His best season came in 2006 with the Red Salt Lake wherein he scored his joined best 33 goals and 33 assists.

He was the face of Unites State of America’s footballing scenario for years. Landon Donovan was key to LA Galaxy’s major triumph and domination in the Major League Soccer until his stay in 2014. Although Donovan’s stint with Bayern Munich and Everton both were unsuccessful, he returned back with the LA Galaxy in 2016.

  1. Chris Wondolowski – 166 goals

He is an American International striker who plays for San Jose Earthquakes. Chris Wondolowski has the best goal scoring average (0.44) among any other player in this list. Justifying the Chris Wondolowski is the all time leading goal scorer in the MLS.


Moreover, Wondolowski became the first player in league history to score 10 or more goals in 8 consecutive seasons on August 19, 2017.
