Inter Miami is set to kick off the MLS 2024 season in the opening match, where Lionel Messi and his teammates will host Real Salt Lake with hopes of commencing their campaign on a positive note.
The competition comprises 29 teams, divided into the Eastern and Western conferences. The 15 teams in the East will engage in a round-robin format against intra-conference opponents and six matches against six West conference teams.

MLS 2024 Home Opener Match
Inter Miami CF is gearing up for the commencement of the Club’s fifth season in the league this Wednesday, February 21. The team is poised to welcome Real Salt Lake for its 2024 MLS home opener at Chase Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
Notably, the season’s inaugural game serves as a showcase of talent, particularly with the presence of Lionel Messi, whose impactful decision to embrace an American experience last summer has added an exciting dimension to the league.
Where to Watch
A significant development occurred on June 14, 2022, with the announcement of a 10-year broadcasting deal between MLS and Apple Inc. This deal grants Apple the global over-the-top streaming rights to all MLS and Leagues Cup matches, as well as selected MLS Next and MLS Next Pro matches.
To enhance the viewing experience, the Apple TV app has introduced a new subscription service named MLS Season Pass, offering both monthly and yearly pass options. In India, fans can watch the matches live through the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
In the U.S., 34 regular season games, eight playoff games, and the MLS Cup final will also be televised on Fox/FS1 and Fox Deportes and in Canada, TSN has the right to broadcast 68 regular season games that may be seen on TSN and RDS.
Highlights of MLS games will be free to watch on Apple TV as fans can also replay the entire game of their choice at their behest and subscribers of MLS Season Pass will also be able to stream certain MLS Next and Next Pro games, as well as the Leagues Cup (a tournament between MLS and Mexican Liga MX clubs).
For Apple TV+ subscribers, the MLS Season Pass is available for $12.99 per month or $79 per season while non-subscribers can get a pass online for $14.99 per month or $99 per season.
