How the 2023 MLB All-Star Ballot works?
After the second update to the 2023 Scotts MLB All-Star Ballot, Shohei Ohtani and Ronald Acuna continue to hold the top spots in the National League and American League, respectively, in Phase 1 of the voting for this year’s All-Star Game. Fans can vote up to five times each 24-hour period on MLB.com, the websites of each of the 30 MLB clubs, and the MLB app from now until Phase 1 concludes at noon ET on Thursday. Fans interested to view the latest standings can do the same through this website.
Fan votes will determine who will start the MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on 11th July at Seattle’s T-Mobile Field. Each league’s top vote-getter will automatically be included in the starting lineup for their team. Beyond those two players, the top two vote-getters at each position as well as the top six outfielders will move on to Phase 2, which starts on Monday. Only the next four outfield finalists will advance to Phase 2 to decide who begins at the two open places if an outfielder is the league’s top vote-getter.
