The highly anticipated Miss World 2025 is finally underway, and fans can keep track of the entire event below with the help of the breakdown of the Hyderabad schedule
This year’s competition marks the 72nd edition of the pageant and features 116 contestants from across the globe.

Notably, Hyderabad’s Congress-led government, under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, is using the competition to promote Hyderabad as a must-visit destination.
Miss World 2025 Venue and dates
The pageant started off in Hyderabad back on May 7 and will conclude with the grand finale on May 31. The Hitex Exhibition Center will serve as the venue for the grand finale. Ahead of the finale, contestants will travel across Telangana over the course of three weeks.
Speaking about contestants, the 72nd edition will have 115 contestants from across continents and Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan is representing India.

The opening ceremony of Miss World 2025, the 72nd edition was streaming live on SonyLIV from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on May 10 and the finale will be live streamed on the app as well.

Given below is a detailed breakdown of each of the events in the Miss World 2025 schedule:
Contestant Arrival & Welcome (May 5–7)
Delegates from across 116 countries started arriving in Hyderabad between May 5 and 7, along with Miss World Chairperson Julia Morley and organizer Jonathan Marksha. All of the contestants, received a warm and traditional welcome at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Opening Ceremony – May 10
The grand kickoff took place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, in an event featuring a visual celebration of Telangana’s heritage. The event consisted of live folk and tribal dance performances. Notably, the event marked the official start of the Miss World 2025 pageant festivities.
Buddhist Spiritual Tour – May 12
The contestants travelled to Nagarjunasagar to visit a Buddhist theme park called Buddhavanam. Participants got to see stupas, sculptures, and interactive exhibits.
Heritage Walk – May 13
Miss World 2025 Participants will take a guided heritage walk through Old Hyderabad, where they will get to visit iconic spots like Charminar and Laad Bazaar. They will get to see Mughal architecture and Hyderabad’s vibrant bazaar culture through the walk.
Handloom Experiential Tour – May 15
All the participants will get to explore Pochampally, which is a UNWTO-recognized handloom village in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district. The village is renowned for its traditional Ikat weaving.
Miss World Sports Finale – May 17
This round will take place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, featuring contestants participating in various sports challenges.
Miss World Continental Finale – May 20–21
This round will take place at T-Hub, India’s largest startup incubator, and it will host fast-track selections for regional Miss World titles.
Arts & Crafts Workshop – May 21
Contestants will attend a workshop at Shilparamam, Hyderabad’s arts and crafts village, where they will get to create traditional Telangana crafts like Cheriyal paintings and silver filigree.
IPL Match Experience – May 20 or 21
Miss World 2025 contestants will get to attend an IPL 2025 match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Through this outing, they will get to experience India’s massive sports culture and provide a break from the pageant’s formal setting.
Miss World Talent Finale – May 22
The contestants will compete in a talent round where judges will evaluate them beyond beauty and charisma.
Miss World Grand Finale – May 31
The Miss World 2025 pageant will finally conclude with a grand finale at the Hitex Exhibition Center starting from 5:30 PM to 1 AM. The Outgoing Miss World, Miss Krystyna Pyszková, will hand over her crown to her successor.
