The pictures of the legend of boxing in a wheelchair have raised concerns about his health among fans. During an interview, Tyson was also seen using the walking stick to him around. He also revealed that he has sciatica.
‘‘I have sciatica every now and then, it flares up. When it flares up, I can’t even talk!” Tyson explained.
He did, however, allay his fans’ concerns by confirming that he has no other health issues that they should be concerned about. Tyson added, Thank God that’s my only health problem. I look great now. Everyone in my home is truly blessed and we are all so grateful for all that we have.”
What is sciatica and what are its consequences upon the human body?
Also known as sciatic neuritis is a pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which goes down one or both legs from the lower back. It is usually caused when a herniated disk or spur bone in the vertebral column presses against the nerve. Tyson had to withdraw from boxing because of back problems, so the problem may have been partial ever since.

Mike Tyson retired from boxing in 2005 and since then has only returned to the ring for a show fight with another legend, Roy Jones Jr.
The fight culminated in a draw, if Tyson’s health permits, more could come in the future. One of the most likely opponents that Tyson will face would be Jake Paul.
Jake Paul was continually engaged in an effort to do battle with legend in reality. Mike Tyson is 56 years old and suffering from a long list of injuries, it seems completely impossible for him to get into a fight in 2022. We hope each new day brings Tyson closer to a full recovery.
