Michael Steward Aka Mike Gregory Professional Career
Michael Steward was one of the top-ranked players from the mid to 1980s to the early 1990s, having been seeded in one of the top four at the World Championships on seven occasions. However, Mike never achieved the World title.
He achieved several televised titles in the all-time history, including the year 1984, the Unipart British Professionals, including beating both Jocky Wilson and John Lowe at the 1986 MFI World Matchplay. He also was among the top seven players who achieved the World Darts Championship twice in the year 1987 and also in 1988, joining Tom Barrett from 1963 to the year 1964.
After the split, Michael played county darts for the Somerset and also played for the Radstock in the Somerset Super League, where Mike appeared with the PDC player Steve Grubb.
