Micah Parsons, a standout for the Dallas Cowboys, has emerged as one of the faces of Dallas sports, here is all you need to know about him and his age, height and weight
Micah Parsons, a star for the Dallas Cowboys, has become one of the faces of Dallas sports, but it’s possible that Pennsylvania will always be where he truly belongs.
Parsons first made headlines in November when he donned a Phillies shirt for Game 3 of the World Series.

On Sunday, he stirred up controversy once more when he donned a 76ers jersey for Game 4 of Philadelphia’s triumph over the Celtics.
Fortunately, the Dallas-area MLB and NBA clubs don’t play against those in the Philadelphia-area. There aren’t many connections between the Rangers and Phillies, despite the fact that the Mavericks and 76ers play in different conferences.
In fact, it’s probable that some Dallas supporters wanted the Phillies to triumph over the Rangers’ divisional rival Astros in the World Series.
Parsons’ admiration of Philadelphia still irks some Cowboys supporters given the great rivalry between the Cowboys and the Eagles, but he has a good reason for it.

What is Micah Parsons’ hometown
Micah Aaron Parsons, an outside linebacker with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL), was born on May 26, 1999. He is currently 23 years old.
Parsons was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which is about two hours’ drive from Philadelphia.
After two years at Central Dauphin High School, he attended two high schools in Harrisburg, graduating from Harrisburg High School.
The two-time All-Pro grew up close enough to Philadelphia to have a connection to its sports teams despite not being a local. “Lol just some home support!!” Parsons wrote on social media when he made waves in November by wearing a Phillies jersey.
After tweeting that the shirt he was wearing belonged to Texas-born Tyrese Maxey, Parsons was ready with an explanation this time.
Maxey from Texas lol!! https://t.co/bYXyJ3PZDw

Cowboys supporters, who have come to hate everything Eagles supporters stand for, might not be content even then.
Micah Parsons’ college
Parsons stayed close to home and went to Penn State for his collegiate education.
After originally breaking his commitment to the Nittany Lions, he initially revoked it in December 2017. When he left high school, he was one of the best players in the nation.
Parsons was a priority target for Penn State coach James Franklin due to his local ties, and Franklin was able to integrate him into his defence for three seasons.
Parsons didn’t have far to travel since Harrisburg and State College are about 90 minutes apart when the Cowboys chose him in the 2021 draft.
Micah Parsons is entering his third season of a four-year contract with the Cowboys and the four-year deal is worth a total of $17,079,793. He has the 18th most expensive contract among linebackers (total value) and for the 2023 season, his base salary is $2,212,708.
Parsons, listed as a linebacker, has chosen to wear No. 11 since he entered the NFL from Penn State. Parsons was born to parents Terrence Parsons and Sherese Parsons.
Is Micah Parsons Eagles fan?
It’s unknown if Parsons ever cheered for the 76ers, Phillies, or Eagles in addition to those teams. His parents are Cowboys followers, according to The Dallas Morning News in 2021, and there aren’t many indications that he developed a strong passion for the Eagles in the same way as he did for the other Philly teams.
At this point, it would probably be best to keep Parsons’ support for the Eagles a secret. Dallas’ biggest rival, the Eagles, are projected to be among the NFC’s top teams in 2023.
