Manuel Ojeda was one of the most active actors in television and cinema in Mexico. He has recently been in the news because he passed away.
He was born as Manuel Salvador Ojeda Armenta. He was born on 4 November 1940 in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
He began his acting career in theatre after completing his acting training at the “Instituto de Bellas Artes” (Institute of Fine Arts).
He died on 11th August 2022. When he died, he was 81 years old.
His Career
He began his acting career by participating in a number of stage productions. In his mid-thirties, he was cast in his first film. Two years later, he appeared in the first of scores of Televisa telenovelas.
He also played Jimmy in the 1983 Spanish-language adaptation of “P.S. Your Cat Is Dead,” “P.D. Tu gato ha Muerto.” He was a cast member of the telenovela “Alborada” from 2005 to 2006. He rose to fame by portraying the antagonist Zolo in the Hollywood movie “Romancing the Stone.”
