2023 Men’s Hockey Junior Asia Cup day 6 schedule, date, venue, latest scores, & participating teams
Although India managed to take an early lead thanks to 24th minute goal from Sharda Nand, Pakistan restored parity at 1-1 with 44th minute strike from Ali. In the fourth quarter, no goals were scored and hence, the match ended as 1-1 tie with both teams continuing their undefeated run at the prestigious U21 tournament. In the other match of Group-A, Japan thrashed Chinese Taipei by score of 10-1 to keep their semi-final qualification hopes alive.
Following this tie, India sit second in Group-A standings with seven-points from three games and will need a positive result from their next game against Thailand to confirm their berth in the semi-final. According to the official schedule of the 2023 Men’s Junior Hockey Asia Cup, India vs. Thailand will be played on Sunday at 9:30 PM IST. Meanwhile, the other decisive game featuring Japan vs. Pakistan will be played on Monday.
