On Tuesday, India was defeated 2-5 by Japan in the Asia Cup 2022 match in Jakarta. From the first quarter, which ended in a 0-0 tie, the Japanese maintained dominance. The penalty corner was then converted by Ken Nagayoshi in the 23rd minute, giving Japan a one-goal lead at halftime. In the 39th minute, Kosei Kawabe helped Japan expand their advantage to 2-0, before Pawan Rajbhar scored India’s first goal to keep them in the game.
