The final of the T20 World Cup 2022 is set to be played between Pakistan and England on Sunday 13th of November. The much-awaited game is going to be played at one of the most iconic stadiums in the world.
The weather forecast for Sunday is not looking very promising. There is a 70 percent chance of Rainfall on Sunday. 15-25 percent rainfall is expected to pour down on 13th November.
ICC has kept a reserved day for the showpiece event’s final on the very next day.

If the final couldn’t be able to play on Sunday due to rain then it will be postponed to be played on Monday. The weather in Melbourne doesn’t look very promising on Monday either though it’s still better than Sunday’s forecast.
On Monday there is heavy rainfall expected in the morning and afternoon but the weather seemed to get better as the day progresses. The reserve day will begin at 3pm (Local time).
A minimum of 10 overs are mandatory to get the result of the crunch game.

A very crucial game between Australia and England was washed out due to a wet outfield.
“I think in Australia we need to work on the coverage of our grounds though. There’s no way that England and Australia game should have not been able to start because of some wet patches near the ground” says, Mark Waugh.
The former Australian cricketer also suggested using Marvel Stadium as a backup plan for the upcoming cricketing events in Melbourne. He also said “common sense says in Melbourne, you’ve got a ground that’s got a roof on it, so it could easily be a backup plan,”
