What Exactly Happened so far?
Bell continues the reward by saying that her near-death experience has bolstered her confidence and that she now has a better understanding of how awesome her Canopus is since it essentially won’t let her die. While kissing and licking Bell’s body, Yuuki’s wounds start to heal, which Kyouka notices. To Kyouka, it may be the “lending” that’s to blame, but to Yuuki, it could be something else entirely.
When Yuuki finally doeszes off due to exhaustion, he wakes up in his spirit realm to find a katana lying on the floor. Kuusetsu then unexpectedly confronts him and attacks with a feather dagger. In his realm, Yuuki has learned to move freely, and now she wants to take over his soul, Kuusetsu explains as she dodges.
As Kuusetsu charges at him, Yuuki seizes the katana and fights back. Since this is his universe, Yuuki figures he should be able to become as powerful as he wants to be, so he confronts Kuusetsu for an explanation.
Just as Kuusetsu was about to launch her assault, two diminutive Fukuma clones materialize and inform him that he has already passed away, accusing him of being naughty. While Yuuki is demanding answers, Kuusetsu turns his back on him and instead asks the miniature Rairen, who materializes on top of Yuuki’s head, for his opinion.
Rairen reluctantly concedes that Yuuki is almost a suitable vessel for him to inhabit. Then Rairen orders Fukuma to undo her metamorphosis, and the katana in Yuuki’s hands starts to shift free of his grip, exposing Fukuma as the true wielder.
