Mathias made the shocking claims on social media on Sunday by sharing a video and vowing to expose his younger brother.
The 32-year-old is also a professional footballer who last played as a forward for Belfort and represents the Guinean national team, unlike Paul Pogba, who plays for France.

In the shocking video, Mathias promised to make ‘explosive’ revelations against Pogba. Mathias also mentioned about French striker Kylian Mbappe in his video. He stated that he has some information to share about Mbappe as well.
Mathias claimed Pogba resorted to witchcraft by using a witch doctor to cast a spell on his France teammate Mbappe. Besides these claims, Mathias also called Pogba a ‘traitorâ, âhypocriteâ, and claims that he almost died because of the 2018 World Cup winner.
Pogbaâs Quick Reaction To Mathias’ Witchcraft ClaimsÂ
The video quickly went viral on social media and following the incident, Pogba’s camp released a statement. It stated that Mathias was part of a syndicate trying to extort money from Paul Pogba.
Once Pogba made the accusations, Mathias responded on social media once again on Sunday against his brother.
Mathias Tweeted:
Paul, you really wanted to shut me up completely to lie and send me to prison, I suspected it. Now itâs true, my version of the facts actually happened and unlike you, I have enough to prove my words and your lies.
I’ll tell you again: brother, manipulating people is not good! Itâs not about money: You implicated me in spite of myself, I almost died because of you, you left me in a hole and you want to play the innocent one. When everything is said people will see that there is no bigger coward, bigger traitor and bigger hypocrite than you on this earth.
He went on further:Kylian, now do you understand? I have no negative feelings toward you, my words are for your good, everything is true and proven, and the witch doctor is known! Sorry about this brother, a so-called Muslim deep in witchcraft, itâs never good to have a hypocrite and a traitor near you.
Paul Pogba Denies Allegations, And Accuses Brother Of Extortion
Paul Pogba had earlier this year filed a police complaint after two hooded men carrying assault rifles in an apartment in Paris in March intimidated him. The two assailants demanded 13 million euros from the Juventus star, who was then at his former club Manchester United.
The 29-year-old footballer told authorities that he assumed the men behind the blackmail attempt were some of his childhood friends and his elder brother Mathias. The assailant had apparently told Pogba that they were entitled to the money for ‘protecting him’ over the years.
Pogbaâs team released a statement saying:
The recent declarations of Mathias Pogba on social media are unfortunately not a surprise. They are coming after threats and attempts of extortion by an organised gang against Paul Pogba.”
When authorities questioned Pogba, he had apparently told them that the blackmailers had also turned up at Juventus’ training ground in Turin, Italy last month. This was what triggered him to report the matter to the club’s legal team and the police.
