The streaming platform for the Master Chef show has revealed that the Tamil and Telugu versions of the reality show would debut on SonyLIV.
Master Chef Tamil and Telugu will be airing from April 22 onwards on SonyLiv. Through its initial Tamil and Telugu versions, the competitive cookery series will give cooks from small towns and villages in South India a stage.
According to a press release from SonyLIV, the programme seeks to fully immerse viewers in the cultural nuances of Tamil and Telugu food.
Master Chef Tamil and Telugu’s judges
Celebrity chefs Koushik Shankar, Shreeya Adka, and Rakesh Raghunathan will serve as judges in the Tamil edition. On the other hand, chefs Sanjay Thumma, Nikitha Umesh, and Chalapathi Rao are on the Telugu edition panel.
“MasterChef India” in Hindi debuted its eighth season on SonyLIV last year with famous chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Pooja Dhingra.
