Although Manchester United have stated that the 21-year-old forward still will not train nor play with the club until further information he still has a contract with the club.

The young English forward has a contract with the Red Devils that runs until June 30, 2025. However, as per the allegations against him, his future at Old Trafford is still in doubt. Following his suspension from all club activities in early last year, the club have adapted to life without Greenwood.
Back then, interim manager Ralf Rangnick had stated:
We had a problem with Mason Greenwood and being without a player for the time being who has played in recent weeks and, together with the club not finding an agreement with another club, this is why [Lingard] stayed.”

Greenwood’s current contract with Manchester United will see him earn around €3.9 million and it is his main income source. Prior to his arrest, Greenwood had a sponsorship contract with Nike. The sportswear brand however, dropped him due to the allegations made against him.
Moreover, he also earned a decent amount of money from shirt sales. However, Manchester United stopped selling shirts with Greenwood’s name since the arrest. The club even went to the extent of allowing fans to exchange Greenwood shirts for alternatives.
