Mason Greenwood and Harriet Robson audio tape, video and messages go viral on Twitter and Reddit

Harriet Robson, Mason Greenwood partner, had released audio in which the 20-year-old can be heard putting pressure on her, adding to the pictures she previously posted

Even though the 22-year-old model claims she “didn’t want to have s*x,” Greenwood coerces her into having it nonetheless. Mason can also be heard yelling, “Move your f*** legs up you t***! Push me one more time and see what happens to you.”

The date on one of the pictures Harriet posted previously was May 8, 2020, indicating that this isn’t the first time the Manchester United forward is accused of abusing her. Greenwood was accused of attempted r*pe, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault resulting in actual bodily damage.

Despite fan objections, United planned to bring back Greenwood

According to sources, Manchester United had planned to announce Mason Greenwood’s homecoming when the attempted r*pe charges were dropped. However, a few club followers are vehemently against such a choice. Monday night’s game between Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford marked the start of the 2023–24 Premier League season. Before the game, fans demonstrated against the likely return of striker Mason Greenwood.

In February 2023, the United Kingdom’s Crown Prosecution Service dropped its case against him, citing that new evidence and the departure of key witnesses made conviction no longer seem likely. Since his arrest, Greenwood has been placed on leave by Manchester United. Before choosing whether or not to allow him to rejoin the first team, for whom he scored 35 goals over two and a half seasons from 2019 to 2022, the club has also been conducting its own internal inquiry.

Greenwood’s homecoming was scheduled but the decision was put off

By the beginning of the new season, a decision was anticipated, and as The Athletic reported on Wednesday, August 16, it was anticipated that Greenwood would be permitted to return. According to The Athletic, United’s chief executive, Richard Arnold, was supposed to explain the decision to both club staff and the wider public in a video that would be released on Friday, August 4.

Arnold was apparently planning to clarify that while Greenwood will be reintegrated into the first team structure in the short-to-medium term, he would not be working with the Manchester United Foundation, the club’s charitable arm. The announcement, though, was scrapped.

“The fact-finding portion of our inquiry is now complete, and we are in the final stages of making a decision on Mason’s future,” United stated later on August 16 in their first public statement on the matter. Contrary to what the media has reported, a decision has not yet been reached and is the focus of extensive internal discussion. The club said that its own inquiry had drawn on extensive evidence and context not in the public domain, acknowledging that “strong opinions” had been sparked by what it called partial evidence in the public domain.
