Harriet Robson, who was dating Greenwood at the time, said that he sexually assaulted and raped her. She posted pictures of what she said were the abuses on her Instagram story. She also shared audio clips of their conversations, in which the striker allegedly tried to get her to sleep with him.

Because of this, the police were called and he was taken into custody. Since then, he has been out on bail while the case is still being looked into. But Manchester United quickly put out a statement saying that he was kicked off the team and told not to come back to the training facility. Nike also ended their deal to sponsor the player, and FIFA took him out of the game.
After almost 9 months, Harrier Robson reportedly followed Greenwood back on Instagram out of the blue. This has led to rumours on social media that the young player might return to the club.

Mason Will John Greenwood is an English professional football player who was born on October 1, 2001. He plays forward for the Premier League team Manchester United.
