The author in question, Jamie Mayer, maintains a webpage that provides details about her employment with Insomniac Games. Her profile says the following about her:
“Currently on the writing team for the upcoming Spider-Man 2 (release fall 2023) and Wolverine gameS (release TBD) for Insomniac Games/Sony Interactive.”
Given how evasive PlayStation and creator Insomniac Games have been regarding the game’s marketing, the fall 2023 release timeframe for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was precisely what most fans were anticipating.
