Weddings in India are carried out with great pomp. Recently Nisha from the Tuticorin district of Tamil Nadu amazed people by performing martial arts right after her wedding ceremony. She practiced all these martial art stunts right after her wedding rituals in front of the wedding hall.

Nisha Performs Mixed Martial Arts In Saree During Marriage 

The “Suru Vaal Veechu form of martial arts came into the acknowledgment of people across the globe when a girl’s video went viral on the internet. This girl showcased this amazing talent with the help of Silambam sticks right after her wedding rituals were over. It might sound a bit weird, but definitely, it is a brave act. One needs to have the guts to perform something like this on the wedding day.

Nisha was draped in a beautiful silk saree along with traditional Tamil jewelry when she performed stunts on the streets of Tamilnadu. The wedding hall where the ceremony was conducted is located in Thirukolur village of Tuticorin district in Tamilnadu.

Why Nisha Performed Martial Arts At Her Wedding Ceremony?

The 22-year-old bride stated that she performed stunts because she wants to promote self-defense. Earlier she used to perform martial art stunts wearing sportswear but today on the occasion of the wedding she tried to set an example for other girls. Her motive was to create awareness for self-defense among girls of her village but fortunately, she has become an inspiration for millions today.

Nisha entertained her village people for more than 90 minutes with her amazing stunts. When asked she stated that wearing a saree, jewelry, and makeup doesn’t mean that women cannot protect themselves. The village people and the guests at her wedding kept on cheering her up.

Nisha is a BCom graduate and wants to become a police officer in the future. She started learning the most basic and traditional form of martial arts initially. She wants to learn more forms of art in the future.
