Now, to me, it’s also art, and I respect those who practise it. I frequently visit three or four tattoo artists. Some are in Prague, and most of them are female.”
Marketa Vondrousova’s Injuries
When it comes to her health, Marketa Vondrousova hasn’t had the best of times. At crucial times throughout her career, she has failed. Her wrist has been the reason for her misery, as she has had to go through a wrist operation twice.
She began by reaching the 2019 French Open finals. The thrill of that moment didn’t last long because her wrist quickly began to fail her.
As a result, she was forced to leave the game for six months. It didn’t take her long to get back to the court. The wrist troubles her again, necessitating another six months’ expenditure.
The tennis player took inspiration from her tattoo and recovered after returning to the Tour. She will be hoping to succeed by applying the no rain, no flowers philosophy and emerge victorious this time.
