Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas Match Events & How it Unfolded?

Vargas and Magsayo were trading hard shots in the opening stages, with the former winning the battles. Vargas recognised Magsayo beginning in the third round. He started hammering the jab at will while taking advantage of his four-inch reach advantage, which created the opportunity to start pounding the body. Magsayo appeared to be worn out from the shots; he appeared to be suffering.

Vargas delivered an uppercut during their inside fight in the ninth round, but Magsayo reacted with a powerful right hand to knock Vargas to the ground. Vargas managed to get up again but was vulnerable because of his wobbly legs. In the eleventh round, Magsayo was unable to profit. Rather than applying pressure, he let Vargas off the hook.
