Margie has been trained by Coach Daniel Bautista in street-style skateboarding. She has represented the Philippines a number of times in many skateboarding contests.

She was born in the Philippines on 19th April 1999 to Julie Didal and Lito Didal. Her mother is a sidewalk vendor whereas her father is a carpenter by profession. They are five siblings among which skateboarder Margie is the second youngest one.

The skateboarding journey for Margielyn began when she was quite small at a park in her city Cebu with her friends, this park is today nonfunctional. After the closing of this Concave Park, the real struggle in Margie’s life began. The police of Cebu city didn’t allow Margie and her friends to roam on the streets of Cebu and practice skateboarding.
Street League Skateboarding, X Games, and Asian Games gave a kick start to her career. Also, she conquered a shiny Gold medal at the Asian Games.
